Education Enrichment Grant Request

Generous donations to the North Polk School Foundation allow Enrichment Grants to be awarded each year to teachers in the district. These grants are available to teachers for educational projects and programs in their classrooms that benefit North Polk students. The Grant Committee of the Foundation reviews all grant applications.

What is the committee looking for?

Grant requests from all subjects and grade levels.
Projects, programs and items that can be utilized for years to come, having a greater impact on a large number of students.
Requests in the $100-$1500 range. For larger wish list item proposals, please contact [email protected] for consideration outside of the Enrichment Grant process.
Examples of past grant awards: kindergarten STEM kits, bikes for physical education, middle and high school FCS supplies, elementary musical instruments, high school pottery wheel, updated lab equipment for both middle and high school science classrooms, elementary learning letters and letter boards, middle and high school STEM & robot kits, fiction and non-fiction books to support and expand curriculum and diversity at all grade levels, elementary computer programming kits, small appliances for the high school special education program, agriculture learning models for both the middle and high school agriculture programs, Spanish software program and many, many other great items.

The Foundation is unable to fund applications that request compensation for district employees. Multi-year requests will be considered for current-year funding only, with no guarantee for future years funding. Priority will be given to projects that align with the Foundation mission, enhance education for students, and affect a large number of students.
